Mr Godwin Wood is an entrepreneur with over a decade of hands-on experience in construction contracting and residential lettings. Throughout his career, he has delivered multiple large-scale building and refurbishment projects, overseeing all stages from planning and budgeting through to on-site execution and final completion. His long-standing involvement in the rental sector provides valuable insight into tenant demand, property functionality, and long-term asset performance.
Mr Babatunde Bombata brings decades of senior leadership, strategic planning, and operational management experience to the company. With an extensive background in governance, finance, project oversight, and large-scale programme delivery across the public sector, he provides strong expertise in accountability, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and strategic execution. His proven track record of overseeing major development initiatives, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and driving long-term value creation directly supports the company’s mission to acquire, develop, and manage high-quality residential property assets that deliver sustainable rental income and continued capital growth.

In November 2025, the directors came together with a shared objective to address a growing issue within the residential property market — the shortage of high-quality, well-managed rental homes and the lack of development operators able to deliver projects both professionally and efficiently. Recognising that the sector often suffers from inconsistent build standards, fragmented management, and poorly coordinated investment delivery, they combined their respective strengths to create a business focused on quality refurbishment, disciplined project management, and sustainable long-term rental ownership. By uniting hands-on construction expertise with strategic financial and governance leadership, Equinig Capital Ltd was formed to provide a structured, reliable approach to residential development that prioritises asset performance, tenant quality, and long-term value creation.
